The 2026/27 UEFA Europa League runs from the league phase in autumn to the final in Frankfurt on Wednesday 26 May 2027. League-phase matches are on Thursdays at 18:45 and 21:00 CET. In the UK every match is live on TNT Sports, streaming on HBO Max. In the USA, Paramount+ streams every match in English, and TUDN and DAZN carry Spanish-language coverage. If your own legal IPTV subscription carries one of these broadcasters, you can watch on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV in Stream Master. You can set reminders from the TV guide, put up to four simultaneous matches on screen, and send the picture to your TV.

Last updated 21 October 2026, the day before Matchday 3. This guide will be updated as the season goes on.

How the 2026/27 Europa League works

This is the third season of the current format.

  • 36 clubs sit in a single league table.
  • Each club plays eight different opponents: two from each of the four pots, four at home and four away.
  • The top eight go straight to the round of 16.
  • Clubs finishing 9th to 24th enter the knockout phase play-offs. Those finishing 9th to 16th are seeded for that draw, and the winners join the last 16.
  • From the round of 16 onwards it is straight knockout through to the final.

Aston Villa are the holders after winning the 2025/26 title. After two matchdays this season, Juventus lead the table.

The 36 clubs include Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Sunderland from England. Celtic are there from Scotland, Milan and Juventus from Italy, and Leverkusen and Hoffenheim from Germany. France has Lyon, Marseille and Rennes, Spain has Real Sociedad and Celta, and Portugal has Benfica. Beşiktaş represent Turkey, and Olympiacos, Salzburg, Sparta Praha and AZ Alkmaar are also in the field.

Thursday kick-off times in your time zone

UEFA schedules league-phase games at 21:00 CET unless stated otherwise, with an early slot at 18:45 CET.

Europe’s clocks go back on 25 October 2026 and US clocks on 1 November 2026. No matchday falls between those two dates, so UK and US times stay the same all league phase. In Turkey and Brazil, though, matches start one hour later from Matchday 4 onwards.

Following the Europa League in Stream Master

Stream Master is a player, not a provider. It plays the M3U playlist or Xtream Codes login you already have from your own IPTV subscription. It does not include any channels. Whether you can watch a match depends on your provider legally carrying the broadcaster for your country, such as TNT Sports or Paramount+‘s channels. The features below work on whatever your subscription includes.

Use an Xtream login if you want the TV guide

The TV guide comes from Xtream Codes providers. A plain M3U link gets no guide, and Stream Master cannot load a separate XMLTV/EPG URL. To add your playlist, go to Playlists, tap + and choose Xtream Login. Then enter your username, password and portal URL. If your M3U link already contains Xtream credentials, for example a get.php?username=... link, Stream Master converts it to an Xtream playlist automatically. More on the difference is in What is Xtream Codes?.

Set reminders for Thursday’s matches

  1. Open Live TV and go into the category that holds your broadcaster’s channels.
  2. Tap the grid button in the toolbar. The guide shows a 24-hour timeline, already scrolled to the current time.
  3. Find the match listing on the channel and tap the bell. You’ll see “Reminder Set”.
  4. The notification arrives at the programme’s start time. Your reminders also appear under Upcoming Reminders on the Home screen on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.

If notifications are switched off, Stream Master asks you to turn them on in iOS Settings. The guide and reminders are free. Inside the player, the top bar also shows what is on now and next. See Smart EPG: TV Guide, Reminders and Catch-Up for more.

Catch up on a match you missed

US viewers face 12:45 and 15:00 ET weekday kick-offs, so catch-up is worth knowing about. It works on iPhone and iPad, with Xtream playlists, and only on channels your provider archives.

In the same guide grid, past programmes you can replay have a light-green background and a green rewind icon. Tap one to watch it from the start. If a programme is outside the provider’s archive window, the channel simply plays live and no error message appears. Catch-up is free, but it isn’t available in the Apple TV app.

Watch on the big screen

You have two routes to a TV:

  • Apple TV app. Install Stream Master on Apple TV and add the same playlist with Link m3u or Xtream Login. With Pro, iCloud Sync can bring your playlists and favorites across from iPhone instead. The Apple TV app has the guide, reminders, favorites and Multi-View, but no catch-up or recording.
  • AirPlay or Chromecast from iPhone/iPad (Pro). Tap the AirPlay or Cast button in the player and pick your TV or Cast device. When casting, changing channel on the phone doesn’t change the TV. A Play on TV button lets you choose when to send the new channel. If the TV can’t play the stream, you’ll see “Connection Failed”. Details are in Cast IPTV to Your TV with AirPlay and Google Chromecast.

Multi-View for simultaneous kick-offs

Every league-phase Thursday has two blocks of games played at the same time, and on Matchday 8 all 18 games kick off together. Multi-View shows up to four streams at once, if your provider carries the channels showing those games.

On iPhone and iPad (Pro), there are two ways in:

  • Tap the Multi-View button (the 2x2 grid icon) in the player.
  • Long-press a channel and choose Open in Multi-View.

The first time, a “High Data Usage” notice appears. Use Add Screen to add tiles, then Add Channel on an empty tile to pick a stream. Only one tile plays sound at a time. Tap a tile to give it the sound, shown by a green border.

On Apple TV, Multi-View is included without Pro. Choose Open MultiView from a channel’s detail screen. The sound follows whichever tile you focus, and a long-press gives you Add Screen, Remove Screen and Change Channel. More in Multi-View: Watch Up to 4 IPTV Channels at Once.

Record a match (Pro, iPhone/iPad)

Tap the red REC button in the player’s top bar. It blinks and shows a timer while recording. Tap it again to stop and you’ll see “Recording Complete”. The match is saved as an MP4 in My Recordings, which you can reach from Home or from Settings > Recording Settings. You can record one stream at a time.

Offline downloads cover movies and series episodes only, so they don’t apply to live matches.

What’s free and what needs Pro

The free version includes:

  • one playlist and up to five favorites
  • the TV guide, reminders and catch-up
  • Picture-in-Picture

Pro adds AirPlay, Chromecast, recording and Multi-View on iPhone/iPad, plus iCloud Sync and unlimited playlists. It also removes the ads that free users see on iPhone and iPad.

Get set up before Thursday

If your IPTV provider legally carries your country’s Europa League broadcaster, add your playlist now and set a reminder for Matchday 3. Download Stream Master on the App Store.

Frequently Asked Questions

When and where is the 2026/27 Europa League final?

League-phase games are at 18:45 and 21:00 CET, which is 12:45 and 15:00 ET or 09:45 and 12:00 PT. Those times hold for every remaining league-phase matchday.
