Short answer: The 2026/27 UEFA Champions League runs until the final in Madrid on Saturday 5 June 2027. Most matches kick off at 21:00 Central European time (CET, or CEST in summer), and the early games start at 18:45 Central European time.

To watch on iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, you need a subscription with the official broadcaster in your country. Examples include:

  • TNT Sports and Prime Video in the UK
  • Paramount+ in the US
  • DAZN and Prime Video in Germany
  • CANAL+ in France

If your legal TV provider gives you an M3U link or an Xtream Codes login, Stream Master can play it on all three devices. With an Xtream login it also gives you a TV guide and kick-off reminders, and Multi-View helps on busy matchdays.

The season at a glance

2026/27 is the 72nd season of the competition and the third using the league phase format. The season began on 7 July 2026. The league phase started on 8 September and ends on Wednesday 27 January 2027.

The format works like this:

  • League phase: 36 teams share one league table. Each team plays 8 matches against 8 different opponents, 4 at home and 4 away. That makes 144 matches in total.
  • Top 8: these teams go straight to the round of 16.
  • 9th to 24th: these teams play a two-legged knockout play-off. Teams 9th to 16th are seeded against teams 17th to 24th and play the second leg at home.
  • 25th and below: these teams are knocked out. They do not drop into the Europa League.

The final is on Saturday 5 June 2027 at the Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid, home of Atlético de Madrid. The UEFA Executive Committee chose the venue at a meeting in Tirana.

We have not yet confirmed the kick-off time for the final or the dates of the knockout draws. We will add both here once UEFA confirms them.

Kick-off times in your time zone

UEFA publishes every kick-off in Central European Time. The standard slot is 21:00 Central European time (CET, or CEST in summer). Some nights also have an early slot at 18:45 Central European time. Matchday 1 and Matchday 4 each have two early games per night.

UEFA’s times stay at 21:00 and 18:45 whether Europe is on winter or summer time. Your local time can still move, because countries change their clocks on different dates:

  • Europe and UK: clocks go back on Sunday 25 October 2026 and forward on Sunday 28 March 2027.
  • United States: clocks go back on Sunday 1 November 2026 and forward on Sunday 14 March 2027.
  • Turkey: stays on UTC+3 all year.
  • Brazil: Brasília stays on UTC-3 and has had no daylight saving since 2019. If Brazil brings it back, the Brasília column will change; the January to February 2027 rows should be re-checked at the time.

Europe and the US are briefly out of step between 25 and 31 October, but no matches fall in that week.

In the table below, each cell shows the 21:00 Central European time (CET, or CEST in summer) slot first and the 18:45 Central European time slot second.

The round of 16 second legs fall after the US clocks go forward but before Europe’s do. That makes them one hour later than usual for US viewers.

Knockout kick-off times are not yet confirmed, so the rows above only cover the league phase; check each round’s times when UEFA publishes them.

Official broadcasters by country

This table covers eight markets: the UK, the US (English and Spanish), Germany, Spain, Italy, France and Turkey. Each is backed by a 2026/27 source. We left out other countries because we could not confirm their broadcasters for this season.

The UEFA where-to-watch list currently online is for the 2025/26 final, not this season. Most entries below rely on news and comparison sites, so check with the broadcaster before you subscribe.

A few details are easy to mix up:

  • Match totals differ. The figures of 189 and 203 depend on whether qualifiers are counted.
  • Telemundo and Peacock do not have this season. Their US Spanish-language deal starts in 2027/28.

Watching on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV with Stream Master

Stream Master is a player. It does not include channels, sell subscriptions or provide any matches.

It plays the M3U playlist or Xtream Codes login you already have from your own legal TV provider. If your subscription only works in the broadcaster’s own app, use that app. Stream Master is for providers that give you playlist or Xtream details.

1. Add your provider’s playlist

  1. Open Stream Master, go to the Playlists tab and tap +. The Apple TV app has the same two options.
  2. Choose a playlist type:
    • Xtream Login: enter a Playlist Title, Xtream Username, Xtream Password and Xtream Portal URL.
    • Link m3u: enter a Playlist Title and Playlist URL. If the link contains Xtream credentials (for example a get.php?username=… link), the app converts it to an Xtream playlist automatically.
  3. Wait while the app checks the connection, verifies your credentials and loads categories. It then shows how many Live TV, Movies and Series items you have, plus your account status and expiry date.
  4. Open Live TV. Find your provider’s sports category or use search, then add the channels you need to Favorites.

The free version allows one playlist and up to 5 favorites. It includes Picture-in-Picture, the TV guide, catch-up, reminders and parental control. Free users on iPhone and iPad see ads.

2. Get the TV guide and kick-off reminders

The guide comes from your Xtream Codes provider. Plain M3U playlists get no guide, and the app cannot load XMLTV or custom EPG URLs. If you want reminders for big matches, use your provider’s Xtream login.

To use the guide:

  • In a Live TV category, tap the grid button in the toolbar. You’ll see a 24-hour timeline scrolled to now, with the live program highlighted.
  • Tap the bell on a future match to set a reminder. The notification arrives at the program’s start time.
  • Your reminders appear under Upcoming Reminders on Home, on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
  • Inside the player, a bar shows the current and next program, and a schedule sheet shows the schedule.

More detail is in our Smart EPG guide.

3. Catch up on a match you missed

Catch-up works on iPhone and iPad only. It needs an Xtream playlist and only works on channels your provider archives.

  • Open the EPG grid from the toolbar.
  • Past programs you can replay have a light-green background and a green rewind icon. Tap one to watch from the start.
  • Tap the channel logo to go back to live.
  • If a program is outside your provider’s archive window, it simply plays live.

Catch-up is not available on Apple TV or from the player’s schedule sheet.

4. Put the match on your big screen

The simplest option is the Apple TV app. You can add the same playlist there. With Pro, iCloud Sync keeps playlists and favorites in step across your devices.

From an iPhone or iPad, AirPlay and Chromecast need Pro:

  • AirPlay: tap the AirPlay button in the player and pick your Apple TV or AirPlay-compatible TV.
  • Chromecast: tap the Cast button and pick a Google Cast device. The current stream loads on the TV. If you change channel on the phone, tap Play on TV to send the new one.

The Apple TV app itself has no AirPlay or casting. See how casting works for more.

Picture-in-Picture is free and keeps the match in a corner while you use other apps. It works with streams on Apple’s player, such as HLS, but not with MKV or raw TS streams.

5. Follow several matches at once

Most games kick off together at 21:00 Central European time (CET, or CEST in summer), and all of Matchday 8 is played on one day. Multi-View shows up to four streams at once. Only one tile plays sound.

  • iPhone and iPad (Pro): tap the Multi-View button (2x2 grid icon) in the player, or long-press a channel and choose Open in Multi-View. Tap Add Channel on an empty tile to fill it. Tap a tile to give it the sound, and it gets a green border.
  • Apple TV (no Pro needed): choose Open MultiView from a channel’s detail. Focusing a tile switches the sound. Long-press for Add Screen, Remove Screen or Change Channel.

Four live streams use a lot of data, so you need a stable connection.

If a channel fails mid-match, an error card offers three options: Retry, an alternative quality of the same channel if your playlist has one, or Next channel.
